Software Engineer

We are looking for a product-minded developer to join our team. Working with the design, product management and development teams across a broad range of projects from large headline features to refining much loved functions, you will analyze, develop, test and implement quality code to help create kick-arse software.

Founded in San Francisco, we have grown into a globally distributed team with people in San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, Sydney, Melbourne and Nelson NZ.

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Passionate about developing consumer facing software used globally and across industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of network, distributed, asynchronous and concurrent programming.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
  • 4+ years developing consumer-facing SaaS products.
  • Proficiency with C#, SQL Server, and .Net (MVC, WCF, Web API, .Net Core a plus).
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Platform a plus.
  • JavaScript/TypeScript a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to work in an international, multi-location team.
  • You need to be allowed to work in the USA.

Karbon is beginning to grow the Seattle team which means there isn't an office here yet and this will be a remote work role. You can work from home or a co-working space of your choice and meet up with the team a couple times a week in Bellevue.
