You would be responsible for responding to, following-up, and assisting new customers as they experience Karbon for the very first time, and will work with and learn from a skilled and passionate team. The successful candidate will be extremely self-motivated, excited to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a positive attitude and work effectively in a team environment.
Karbon is a cloud-based collaborative work management platform for accounting firms, designed to solve the pain points of collaborating across teams, departments and locations. Karbon combines email, discussions, tasks and powerful workflows to keep everything a team needs to get work done in one place and in context. Check it out at karbonhq.com.
Founded in San Francisco, we have grown into a globally distributed team with people in San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, Sydney, Melbourne and Nelson NZ. We are well-funded, have a fantastic team culture and make a global impact.
Karbon has been around for 5 years, and we still consider ourselves a startup. We have a team of roughly 30 employees spread across multiple offices, countries and time zones. Our company was founded by two serial entrepreneurs with successful previous exits. The rest of the team has a heavy background in cloud accounting software companies. We have taken on some venture funding but are on track to be cashflow positive in the coming year if desired.
This role will be heavily involved in Karbon’s sales plan for 2020, and will be guided by two trainers who have both been with Karbon since the very early days. As a software company, we leverage a lot of software application to manage our workload and automate where we can. This is something that usually involves a steep learning curve for a new team member, so the successful candidate will need to be open to problem-solving and comfortable to raise their hand and ask for help when needed.
We have a very “open door” and transparent work culture. We share our successes and failures so that everyone can learn, along with financial information to ensure everyone across the company knows what we are working towards.
